Activist De Bouse Shot-to-Death Relative Confirmed

Shreveport, LA.-The 23-year-old male shot to death in Shreveport, LA’s Cedar Grove neighborhood on August 12, 2021 has been confirmed as the close relative of Global Leader and Activist Greshun De Bouse by an anonymous source. The shooting happened at about 2:30 pm near Caddo Magnet School, where students inside were placed on lockdown while the shooting occurred. Activist De Bouse is respected globally for her advocacy and activism, including founding National Doe B Day in 2020 in memory of TI & Hustle Gang artist Glenn Thomas who who was shot to deathin a hometown nightclub, and to raise awareness of gun violence and promote gun safety. Javoris’s funeral was held August 21, 2021 at Union Spring Baptist Church-Shreveport. Shreveport PD currently has no leads in the murder.
