Activist De Bouse: “What The What Is Biden Doing?”
February 24, 2022
With President Trump in office, many laughed and mocked him for his persistence on building a Wall to protect our U.S. borders and citizens. Now many of those same mockers are wishing for President Trump’s vision and Wall, considering Biden is repeatedly failing to protect U.S. borders and U.S. citizens. Interestingly, but not surprisingly, Biden has taken more questionable-this time concerning our U.S. troops and the Ukraine-Russia conflict. On February 23, 2022, after Putin ordered the invasion of breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine, Biden ordered 90,000 U.S. military members into the Ukraine. He followed that number up with an additional 7,000 more U.S. military members sent to Germany on February 24, 2022. Considering Biden contends "Our forces are not going to Europe to fight in Ukraine but to defend our NATO allies and reassure those allies in the east," one must ask, Was this necessary?
In his statement on U.S. Sanctions on Russia, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) states "...We should not send troops. I don’t think that’s the right decision...We should also do more than the sanctions that the President has laid out...Taking our natural gas, shipping it around the world, lowering prices for us, by the way creating jobs in the United States of America, but denying the Russians the income they would otherwise receive. That will drive a stake in the heart of their economy."
In his statement on Russia's Invasion Into the Ukraine, fellow Republican Representative Mike Johnson (LA-4) seemingly agrees with Cassidy by asserting "..We should impose debilitating sanctions on Russia’s economic interests...We should exclude Russia from global commerce and international institutions."
In her statement on Biden and Ukraine-Russia Conflict, Global Advocate and Activist Greshun De Bouse (LA) states, "I consider it neither financially prudent, nor sound decision-making for Biden to send 97,000 or approximately 7.5% of our military to the Ukraine. If the U.S. military is not and will not be participating tin the Ukraine-Russia conflict, I consider sending U.S. troops to the Ukraine a gross misuse of U.S. resources. Such resource misuse as aforementioned may be viewed as an antagonistic move by Putin, and leaves the U.S. without its own full military resources. While, I support the notion of strengthening our relationships with NATO allies, I concur with fellow Louisianian and Republican Rep. Mike Johnson that.the Biden administration seems to be taking an "appeasement" approach to Russian aggression. The questionable action or inaction of the Biden administration evokes one lingering question, What the what is Biden Doing?"
Now Global Advocate and Activist Greshun De Bouse is the creator of the #whatthewhatisbidendoing hashtag and movement and very first to use it on social media.
