Respected Activist Greshun De Bouse Young Relative Gunned Down in Shreveport

Shreveport, LA-A source who wishes to remain unidentified has confirmed that the 23-year-old male-Javoris K. De Bouse-who was shot to death on August 12, 2021 is the close relative of Respected Advocate and Activist Greshun De Bouse. The incident occurred in Shreveport, LA around 2:30 pm in the 600 block of West 64th Street in Cedar Grove neighborhood. The nearby Caddo Magnet School went on temporary lockdown during the shooting as students were inside. Funeral services for Javoris will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 1 pm Union Springs Baptist Church-Shreveport, and face masks are required. Respected Advocate and Activist Greshun De Bouse is the founder of National Doe B Day (among other impactful holidays) in memory of TI and Hustle Gang-affiliated rapper Glenn Thomas who was gunned down in a Montgomery, AL nightclub, to raise awareness of gun violence and to promote gun safety. Our thoughts and prayers are with Activist De Bouse and her family during this time.
